An immigrant mom whose limited English makes it hard to get the community resources she and her two sons need. A school counselor who is overwhelmed by the uptick in requests for help from families. A cash-strapped teacher who adds extra items to her grocery list so that hunger is less of a barrier for the students in her classroom. These are all individuals who benefit from Food for Hope’s programs, which aim to provide every child in Adams County with the nutrition they need, regardless of the circumstances at home.
What if there was a day that as Coloradans, we got to celebrate the impact of coming together and lifting up our local communities? Luckily for all of us, there is such a day and it is called Colorado Gives Day.
Colorado Gives Day is Tuesday, December 5, ALL DAY LONG! Please take a minute to support Food for Hope with your end of the year donation. Donations are matched through a special giving promotion by First Bank and Colorado Gives Day.
