Food for Hope Operations Map

Our mission is to empower and strengthen the future of our communities by providing nutritious food to children in need.

  • During the 2025-26 school year, Food for Hope distributed 27,000 bags of food to children and their families to fill the weekend hunger gap.

  • In the last year, 894 volunteers gave 4,271 hours of their time to help us achieve our mission.

  • Food for Hope is now operating 9 in-school / district site food pantries at:

    • Adams 14 - Hope Center

    • 27J - Brighton Family Resource Center

    • Pinnacle Charter School

    • McElwain Elementary School

    • STEM Launch

    • Northglenn High School

    • Coronado Elementary School

    • Mapleton Public Schools

  • In the 2025-26 school year, 270,000 pounds of food was distributed through food pantries to an average of 4,000 individuals each month. These locations provide fresh and shelf-stable groceries for students and their families who attend school in these communities and need nutritional support.

  • During the 2025-26 school year, the School Fuel Snack program provided 128,900 high-protein snacks to students at 17 different schools. These snacks are distributed to students who are underfed and/or come to school hungry.

  • Each year, our Feed 5000 Thanksgiving food distribution provides a full Thanksgiving meal to families in Adams County. Over 300 volunteers come together each year to help distribute over 2,500 boxes.

  • Food for Hope partners with Westminster Public Schools to provide Unhoused Student and Family Food Boxes that include easy-to-open and prepare shelf-stable and fresh foods.

  • Community Food Drives have provided a whole pantry full of nonperishable food items, but we always need more! Check out our Donate page for a full food list.

  • We are creating unity through engaging community businesses, organizations, and individuals as we address this issue together.
