Emily Stromquist, Executive Director Emily@foodforhope.net Emily graduated Summa Cum Laude from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina with a B.S. in Business Management. After graduation, she completed an internship with Desire Street Ministries in New Orleans, Louisiana, which developed her ambition to promote social justice and serve those in difficult economic circumstances. After working for six years in software administration, payroll, and management with two large corporations, Emily was given the opportunity to start Food for Hope. Since 2014, she has served as Executive Director of this nonprofit organization and played a critical role in its growth and success.
Darcie Castigliano-Ball,Director of Development
Darcie@foodforhope.net Darcie has a B.S. in Business Marketing from Emporia State University in Emporia, KS. She worked over a decade in sales, marketing, and training for Fortune 500 communications companies. In addition to her professional career, Darcie has many years of experience volunteering, event planning, and fundraising with local churches, non-profit organizations, and schools.
Reba graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in International Business. She worked 5 years at a SAAS company focused on fundraising events, endurance events, and corporate meeting management before getting to teach dance to youth in the Thornton, Colorado community for an additional 6 years. Reba is passionate to serve the people and community around her, and is thankful for the opportunity to do this with Food for Hope.
Tiffany has a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Colorado School of Mines. She worked over a decade in the Environmental Science and Engineering consulting industry working with a variety of public and private corporations in the development, implementation and training of custom data management systems. She left the professional world 10 years ago to focus on homeschooling her three children. She returned to the corporate world in 2020 as a Census Field Supervisor managing, training, and supporting a team of Census Enumerators in completion of the 2020 census effort in Adams County. In 2022 Tiffany joined Food for Hope as the Community Coordinator focused on building and supporting the volunteer teams for various Food for Hope programs. She additionally coordinates interactions with the community in support of food drives and special projects.
Laura has a BS in science education and a BA in French from the University of Kansas and a PhD in science education from CU-Boulder. She worked for over a decade in education, which left her deeply committed to making a more significant impact in addressing childhood hunger. After serving for several years as a volunteer for Food for Hope, she is thrilled to expand her involvement as the Food Distribution Coordinator. When not working, Laura enjoys hiking in the mountains, camping with her family, and curling up with a good book (especially if there is a cup of tea and dark chocolate nearby).
Kelly graduated from the Metropolitan State University of Denver with a B.S. in Physics. She worked as a Hazards Analyst for 10 years, supporting planning and preparedness activities for various government facilities. She is very involved in her church, serving as the Worship Leader for the past 15 years, and volunteering in several other capacities. She loves to sing, play volleyball, and attempt to keep up with her four kids. She is excited for the opportunity to serve her community in the work she does for Food For Hope.
