Mitch is a 36 year veteran of the television news business.
His reporting experience has enabled him to cover such high profile stories as the Oklahoma City Bombing, Platte Canyon High School and Columbine tragedies, the San Francisco earthquake of 1989, the Los Angeles riots, the Berlin Wall, the Gulf War from our nation’s capital, and Hurricane Andrew.
Mitch’s work has earned him 13 regional Emmy awards. Two of those awards were for his 21 years of writing and producing the Denver7 7Everyday Hero stories that highlight outstanding volunteers. Mitch is a graduate of Colorado State University and is a member of the CSU Journalism Hall of Fame. He is married and a father of two children.
