It's Feed 5000 time!

Feed 5000 is Food for Hope’s large Holiday Meal Box Event that provides Thanksgiving Boxes in partnership with ThornCreek Church, Premier Partners AMAZON and SUNCOR, local businesses and individuals. This year we will be packing 2300 boxes and supporting 2300 LOCAL Adams County Families. Each box contains shelf-stable foods and a gift card for culturally diverse or special dietary produce. These boxes are distributed through relationships with local schools and Food for Hope, WPS, AC12, AC14, 27j and Pinnacle Charter Schools.

Help us bring these meal boxes to LOCAL families here in Adams County by supporting a family with your donation of $35!

“Food for Hope, a nonprofit that works with schools to feed children, tells CBS Colorado in the last year it's seen an 87% increase in people using their food banks. A lot of those people are using this type of aid for the first time..“ (Emily Stromquist, Food for hope, Executive Director)

UNFRUITFUL - Part One & Part Two

“It often meant more people working but at low wage jobs, a lot of times in our community and some paying a really crazy housing expense and utilities,” she said. “Sometimes food and what you can afford to eat falls to the bottom of the list.” Lori Swanson - Northglenn High School, Odin’s Outpost

“Life happens to these kids and while they're in our community, we try to take care of them the best we can,” Swanson said.
