In a proactive move to address food insecurity within Adams County, Colorado, Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo visited Food for Hope to gain insights into the challenges of food insecurity at the student and family level. The congresswoman engaged with Food for Hope leaders and key volunteers to understand the extent of the issue and learn how Food for Hope is helping to meet the needs of many in Adams County, Colorado. Happy Thanksgiving - Feed 5000

This year Food for Hope’s Feed 5000 program provided 2300 Holiday Meal Boxes the week before Thanksgiving. We are so Thankful for all of our amazing sponsors, including Premier Sponsors, Amazon, Suncor and Kroger/King Soopers. We are also Thankful for our incredible Volunteers who help us pack, distribute and make Feed 5000 happen in the most fun way possible! We supported over 27 local Adams County Schools and 6 School Districts.

It's Feed 5000 time!

Feed 5000 is Food for Hope’s large Holiday Meal Box Event that provides Thanksgiving Boxes in partnership with ThornCreek Church, Premier Partners AMAZON and SUNCOR, local businesses and individuals. This year we will be packing 2300 boxes and supporting 2300 LOCAL Adams County Families. Each box contains shelf-stable foods and a gift card for culturally diverse or special dietary produce. These boxes are distributed through relationships with local schools and Food for Hope, WPS, AC12, AC14, 27j and Pinnacle Charter Schools.
