We were selected by local realtor, Kyle Michel from Re-Max Momentum, to participate in the Sip & Support program. The Sip & Support program brings awareness to both nonprofits and local businesses. In this video, we share how Food for Hope started, what programs we have, where we operate, and our insight into our future goals. We also share some exciting events that we will be hosting this summer.
We appreciate Kyle Michel for letting us be a part of the Sip & Support program and interviewing Food for Hope, and a huge shoutout to Molly Brown Spirits for hosting us.
We are thrilled to announce that Food for Hope was highlighted in the 2022-2023 Community Impact Report! On March 2023, we were honored to be one of the 62 Denver metro nonprofit agencies awarded a Season to Share grant from The Denver Post. This generous support enables us to continue stocking our in-school food banks with fresh and shelf-stable foods, ensuring we can better serve our community. We are incredibly grateful to have received this grant!

The Silver Creek Elementary’s Student Leadership Club recently planned and organized their spring annual food drive! Through the spring annual food drive, the school donated 708 breakfast items to Food for Hope, ensuring that families and students in Adams County have access to a variety of nutritious breakfast items. Read more about it in this article from Adams 12 Five Star Schools.
We recently conducted a survey to see how often students and families visit our food banks. The results revealed that 49% visit once a week, 30.6% visit a couple of times a month, 10.2% visit once a month, and another 10.2% visit infrequently. This data is vital for us as we strive to maintain well-stocked food banks, ensuring a diverse array of food items and essentials are available to families who rely on our services.
