We are thrilled to announce that Food for Hope was highlighted in the 2022-2023 Community Impact Report! On March 2023, we were honored to be one of the 62 Denver metro nonprofit agencies awarded a Season to Share grant from The Denver Post. This generous support enables us to continue stocking our in-school food banks with fresh and shelf-stable foods, ensuring we can better serve our community. We are incredibly grateful to have received this grant!

Silver Creek Elementary Donates 708 Breakfast Items to Food for Hope Through Their Annual Spring Food Drive!

The Silver Creek Elementary’s Student Leadership Club recently planned and organized their spring annual food drive! Through the spring annual food drive, the school donated 708 breakfast items to Food for Hope, ensuring that families and students in Adams County have access to a variety of nutritious breakfast items. We recently conducted a survey to see how often students and families visit our food banks. The results revealed that 49% visit once a week, 30.6% visit a couple of times a month, 10.2% visit once a month, and another 10.2% visit infrequently. This data is vital for us as we strive to maintain well-stocked food banks, ensuring a diverse array of food items and essentials are available to families who rely on our services.

Food Bank of the Rockies - Volunteer Martha packing up Food for Hope in the New Year!

Food for Hope has partnered with Food Bank of the Rockies as a Hunger Relief Partner for many years. We now purchase over 75% of our food from Food Bank of the Rockies and we are Thankful they deliver to us weekly! We wanted to highlight the collaborative spirit of this partnership by sharing Martha, a dedicated volunteer at Food Bank of the Rockies. Martha's unwavering commitment to the cause recently earned her the prestigious Everyday Hero Award from Channel 7 in Denver, Colorado. Martha's selfless efforts include tirelessly packing food destined for Food for Hope, contributing to the organization's mission of combating food insecurity in the region.
