Partnering Local Matters: Growing Hope Together

Every day at Food for Hope, we witness the power of community support in the lives of students and families facing food insecurity. We see children receiving weekend food bags and School Fuel snacks they can rely on. We see families visiting school food pantries experiencing dignity, relief, and hope. Often, students arrive with phones in hand, communicating with parents as they shop the shelves for their families. And week after week, we see dedicated volunteers return because they share a simple belief: no growing child should have to experience hunger. But none of this happens alone.

As a grassroots nonprofit serving schools across Adams County, Colorado, our work is built through partnerships. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, organizations, foundations, and community members, we are able to provide food, support, and compassion to thousands of students and families every year. This support model highlights why our Corporate Sponsorship Program is so important.

Our sponsorship program is designed to create meaningful partnerships that go beyond a one-time donation. We want businesses to truly become part of our mission.

Through this program, companies receive a curated package of opportunities, including:

  • Group volunteer experiences at our local hub.

  • Volunteering in our food pantries or joining us at events.

  • Food for Hope merchandise.

  • Recognition through our website, social media platforms, and newsletter

  • Complimentary tickets to special events.

  • Permanent recognition is displayed on our Giving Wall located inside our Food Distribution Hub.

More importantly, sponsors become part of a movement that directly impacts the community where their employees live and work.

Giving locally matters because the needs we address are prevalent in every community in Adams County. The students we serve are sitting in classrooms right here in our neighborhoods. The families receiving food assistance are our neighbors, coworkers, and friends. When businesses invest in local nonprofits, they are investing in the future of their own community.

Partnerships with nonprofits also create incredible opportunities for team building and employee engagement. Some of the most powerful moments we witness happen during volunteer shifts. Teams come together to pack food bags, sort donations, and prepare resources for families. In those moments, coworkers connect in a new way while making a tangible difference together. There is something special about seeing the direct impact of your work. A volunteer can pack a food bag or a rolling tote for local schools they recognize, knowing it will be in the hands of a student within days. That connection creates purpose, pride, and unity.

At Food for Hope, we are proud to remain a grassroots organization. We are deeply connected to the schools and communities we serve, and we work hard to ensure every partnership feels personal and meaningful. When businesses partner with us, they are not just writing a check. They are becoming part of a community effort rooted in compassion, collaboration, and hope. We know there are many organizations businesses can choose to support, and we are incredibly grateful to every company that chooses to invest in local students and families through Food for Hope.

When local businesses and nonprofits work together, we can all accomplish far more than either could alone. These kinds of partnerships help Food for Hope provide nutritious food and essential resources to children and families facing food insecurity throughout Adams County. In the 2025-2026 school year, Food for Hope distributed more than 270,000 pounds of food and served an average of 4,000 individuals each month throughout Adams County. Every sponsorship helps support programs that serve more than 1,700 students each month across 60+ schools in Adams County.
